How to burn M4A files to an audio CD

M4A (AAC) won't play in most CD decks as files. cdBurner converts them to Red Book audio so the disc plays in any player.

Step by step

  1. Connect the burn agent

Open onlinecdburner.com and connect the one-time burn agent.

  2. Pick “Audio CD”

Choose the Audio CD source instead of Files.

  3. Add your tracks

Add your M4A files — up to about 80 minutes of music — and put them in order.

  4. Insert a CD-R and burn

Keep Finalize on so the disc plays in any CD player or car stereo, then click Burn.

Why cdBurner is different

There is no other tool on the internet that burns real, physical discs straight from a web page. cdBurner is the first of its kind.
