Terms of use
By using cdBurner (onlinecdburner.com) and the cdBurner burn agent, you agree to these terms. cdBurner is a free tool provided as-is.
The service
cdBurner is a free website that, together with a small helper program you install (the “burn agent”), lets you write CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs using the optical drive on your own computer. The burning happens locally on your machine; we do not receive or store the files you burn.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you burn. You agree to use cdBurner only for lawful purposes and only with content you own or have the right to copy. Do not use cdBurner to infringe copyright or other rights, or to create or distribute illegal material.
No warranty
cdBurner is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Disc burning depends on your hardware, drivers and media; burns can fail and discs can be unreadable. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any disc will be successfully written. Always keep your own backups of important data.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, cdBurner and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, wasted media, or damage to drives or equipment, arising from your use of the service.
Advertising
cdBurner is supported by advertising (see our Privacy policy). Ads are provided by third parties and we are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or linked sites.
Intellectual property
The cdBurner name, site design and content are owned by their respective owners. Trademarks mentioned in our guides (e.g. names of operating systems or other software) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
